Please note that engraved text is not black, this is just to show you what the text will look like.
Your engraving will be white, engraving will just take a thin layer off the top of the material. (Please be aware due to the shape of this glass the engraving will only be on the flat sides and we recommend fewer characters due to the smaller area.)
