The Asec Bullet lock is usually used in conjunction with the bullet lock housing, inserting and turning the key retracts the pin on the top of the lock allowing the bullet lock to be removed from the housing. The main use for this type of lock is to secure a pull down guard such as a shutter in place.
The key can only be removed when the shutter bullet is in the locked position.
